ABOUT
Bay District Schools is committed to aiding students and staff in creating a 21st century learning environment. Starting in SY 2012-2013, students and staff may connect to the BDS wireless network. With classroom teacher approval, students may use their own personal mobile devices (laptops, netbooks, tablets, smartphones, etc) to access the internet and collaborate with other students during the school day.
"I now create a weekly TouchCast which is shared every Monday with faculty and staff. I had one teacher tell me she watches on her phone while she is getting ready for work in the morning. I love that staff can multi-task and can replay the video or pause and reflect at any point."
